Having observed countless sales throughout the years, Leung finds that “fluctuations mostly depend on other sales, and whether an airline has a new sale.” These days, the trendsetting carriers are Southwest and AirTran, which typically post their newest air sales on Tuesdays.

Let's Do It Again !!!

Would like to "THANK" everyone who came out and supported North Kern's Relay For Life's Bake Sale on April 2. It was a Huge Success !!! Everything was sold out before 8 o'clock especially the Breakfast Burritos. That's why we plan to do it again this Wednesday morning up by the Admin Building. This time we plan to have at least 300 Burritos and 20 dozen tamales for sale. Burritos will be going for $ 2 and the Tamales are up for grabs at only $ 1 dollar a piece. Remember...All proceeds goes to North Kern's Relay For Life Team. Hope to see everyone out there again.

Some people call em Life Lists, a Bucket List, or Things To Do Before You Die. I call it a Kickass Lifestyle list. You don’t just want to have a life list, that’s kinda boring. You want a Life that Kicks Ass, right….

Your Kickass Lifestyle list determines what you want to do in life and also helps define your purpose.

Once you know what you want to do and accomplish in life all you have to do is follow your daily rituals you will put in place.

Tips for Creating Your Kickass Lifestyle List

• Write everything down that comes to your mind without worrying how you’ll accomplish it

• The main things that “might” keep you from doing the things on your list are money, and the time to do them. So guess what, if you want to accomplish everything on your list your gonna have to either make more money or free up more time. Why not do both at the same time.

• If you don’t have at least 100 items yet, keep creating your list… this is important !

• After you have at least 100 items on your list start going through your list and figuring out which ones to do first

This is my attempt to help raise awareness in the fight against Cancer or maybe just trying to let folks know how short and precious life is. Our family has been devastated by cancer.A total of eight family members and friends have died or are currently fighting for their lives. My cousin Robert Anaya died after a tough 12 years fighting with Hodgkin's Disease. His mother, Helena Anaya is currently fighting Breast Cancer.My sister in-law, Grace Medina, recently lost her brave fight against stage four Brain Cancer. I wish I could stop here, but there's more. Eighteen year old David Garcia has been in and out of the Hospital fighting against Leukemia.Aunt Consuelo fighting Bone Cancer. Uncle Felix Rojas passed away from stage four Stomach Cancer.

We shed our tears for loved ones lost and prayed for the rest of our family to find the strength to fight this terrible disease.

I thought of starting this Blog after a visit with my sister-in law,Grace Medina. Grace was diagnosed with GLIOBLATOMA MULTFORME (GBM),A Brain Tumor. Seeing what Grace was going through,not just with the disease, but with the chemo and radiation therapy, it was hard not to be moved. We asked her if there was anything we could do for her and she replied,"Yes there is." " You can live your life too the fullest. Never take a day for granted,go places you only dreamed of,take pictures with your kids, see the world with your loved ones before something happens." If you can't afford to travel right now,that's ok. Just give your loved ones a big hug and kiss. That's just as important
