This is my attempt to help raise awareness in the fight against Cancer or maybe just trying to let folks know how short and precious life is. Our family has been devastated by cancer.A total of eight family members and friends have died or are currently fighting for their lives. My cousin Robert Anaya died after a tough 12 years fighting with Hodgkin's Disease. His mother, Helena Anaya is currently fighting Breast Cancer.My sister in-law, Grace Medina, recently lost her brave fight against stage four Brain Cancer. I wish I could stop here, but there's more. Eighteen year old David Garcia has been in and out of the Hospital fighting against Leukemia.Aunt Consuelo fighting Bone Cancer. Uncle Felix Rojas passed away from stage four Stomach Cancer.

We shed our tears for loved ones lost and prayed for the rest of our family to find the strength to fight this terrible disease.

I thought of starting this Blog after a visit with my sister-in law,Grace Medina. Grace was diagnosed with GLIOBLATOMA MULTFORME (GBM),A Brain Tumor. Seeing what Grace was going through,not just with the disease, but with the chemo and radiation therapy, it was hard not to be moved. We asked her if there was anything we could do for her and she replied,"Yes there is." " You can live your life too the fullest. Never take a day for granted,go places you only dreamed of,take pictures with your kids, see the world with your loved ones before something happens." If you can't afford to travel right now,that's ok. Just give your loved ones a big hug and kiss. That's just as important
